Biographical Sketch

Judy Hood works with faculty and students to match their skills and specific wireless research interests with companies and organizations in the telecommunications sector that value their expertise. She joined the Virginia Tech Center for Wireless Telecommunications (CWT) as industrial liaison and public relations coordinator in 1999. Hood has a bachleor’s degree in Communications Studies from Radford University. Her primary interests are organizational and technical communications; ensuring that information is readable and valuable to both engineers and to lay readers.
