Larissa Marple

Larissa Marple is an undergraduate Electrical Engineering student at Virginia Tech. She expects to complete her Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering in May 2006. Her Research Focuses on developing protocols that allow radios to connect with each other without taking too much time or resources. Her advisor is Dr. Charles Bostian.
Larissa is a student member of HKN, a National Electrical and Computer Honor Society, and a member of the local chapter of IEEE. She has held summer internships with the Department of Defense and General Motors in fields related to acoustics and antisubmarine warfare, and the research and development of fuel cells respectively. In her spare time, she plays vioin in the New River Valley symphony and serves the community through a non-Greek service sorority Chi Delta Alpha.
