Biographical Sketch

David Scaperoth is a Masters student in the Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is currently working on research in applications of cognitive radios under his advisor, Dr. Charles Bostian at the Center for Wireless Technology (CWT) He expects to graduate in the fall 2006.

David received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in May 2005. David was involved in undergraduate research under Dr. Mostofa Howlader in the area of 802.11 networks. He was also a student officer of the local student chapter of IEEE at UT, where he helped to rebuild and furnish the electrical and computer engineering student lounge.

When David is not in the lab he enjoys being outdoors. Some of his favorite activities include hiking, camping, running, and reading.
